LRT lines 1, 2 close for four days on Holy Week

Light Rail Transit Lines 1 and 2 will be closed for its annual maintenance for four days during the Holy Week.

In a tweet on Tuesday, the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) announced both systems will not operate from April 2, Maundy Thursday, to April 5, Easter Sunday.

For April 1, Holy Wednesday, the last trip for Line 1, in both Baclaran Terminal and Roosevelt Station, will leave at 8 p.m.

On the same day, the last trip for Line 2, Santolan station, will also leave at 8 p.m., while the one at Recto station will depart at 8:30 p.m.

Normal operations or revenue service will resume on Monday, April 6, at 5 a.m. —Rose-An Jessica Dioquino/KBK, GMA News
