Makati to hold free viewing of Pacquiao-Mayweather bout

On Sunday, Makati City will hold a free viewing of the fight between Filipino boxing icon and Sarangani Rep. Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. at the Makati Coliseum.

The city government said the air-conditioned Coliseum will be opened starting 7 a.m., and will allow spectators to watch the undercard matches up to the main event.

A high-definition LCD widescreen measuring nine by 12 feet will be used for the showing, while 1,000 tickets will be distributed to senior citizens, persons with disability and other residents of La Paz and nearby barangays.

Viewers without tickets can enter on a first come, first served basis. The coliseum has a seating capacity of 3,000.  — Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News
