Quiapo road rage suspect willing to give financial aid to stray bullet victim

Quiapo road rage slay suspect Vhon Martin Tanto on Sunday said he is willing to give financial assistance to the family of Roselle Bondoc who was hit by a stray bullet during the altercation on Monday night.

According to a report on GMA News' Balitanghali, Tanto instructed his wife to reach out to the family of Bondoc -- the 18-year-old whose kidney was hit by a stray bullet while the suspect was shooting at gaming assistant Mark Vincent Geralde -- to communicate on how they can help finance the costs after she had to be operated on.

Tanto was arrested in Masbate on Friday by combined elements of the Philippine Army's Intelligence and Security Group, 9th Infantry Division, and local police.

The report said that Tanto told his now three-month-pregnant wife, to continue selling barbeque for the mean time to sustain the needs of their three children.

Preliminary investigation for Tanto's murder and frustrated  homicide charges is scheduled on Tuesday, August 2. —Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/ALG, GMA News
