Route of Traslacion 2018

Officials on Wednesday released the official route for this year's Traslacion of the Black Nazarene in Manila on January 9.

The Traslacion, held annually to commemorate the transfer of the black image of Jesus Christ from San Nicolas de Tolentino in Intramuros to the Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene in Quiapo, will start at 6 a.m. at the Quirino Grandstand in Rizal Park.

The procession, attended by hundreds of thousands of Black Nazarene devotees, will end at the Minor Basilica in Quiapo. Last year's Traslacion lasted for at least 22 hours.

Officials have taken out Lagusnilad from the Traslacion route this year due to safety concerns.

Below is a list of areas in Manila where the Black Nazarene will pass.
