Motorcycle-riding assassins kill BuCor officer in Muntinlupa ambush
An officer of the Bureau of Correction (BuCor) was killed after being shot repeatedly by a motorcycle-riding gunman on Monday afternoon.
Initial investigation showed that the assailant shot Chief Inspector Angelito Padilla at 3:10 pm along Katihan St. in Poblacion, Muntinlupa City.
CCTV in the area showed that the assassin was riding a motorcycle in tandem with another suspect when he shot Padilla at least four times.

Padilla was brought to the Medical Center Muntinlupa for treatment but succumbed to his gunshot wounds at 8:16 p.m.
The motive of the suspects in shooting Padilla remains unknown as of posting time. —NB, GMA News
