PNP honors cop in 'taho' incident
For doing his job and showing patience, Police Officer 1 William Cristobal, the policeman who got splashed with taho by an angry Chinese commuter over the weekend, was honored Monday.
A report by Jonathan Andal on Dobol B sa News TV said Cristobal was honored during Monday's flag-raising ceremony in Camp Crame.

Cristobal, who was assigned at the MRT Boni Station in Mandaluyong City, was also praised by no less than Philippine National Police chief Director General Oscar Albayalde, who attended the flag-raising ceremony.
Jiale Zhang, the 23-year-old Chinese student who splashed Cristobal with taho after he barred her from entering the MRT3 Boni Station on Saturday morning, was arrested over the incident.
As a security measure following the recent deadly bombings in Mindanao, the PNP and MRT3 management are implementing a liquids ban inside trains and train stations.
Cristobal thanked the PNP for honoring him although he said he was not expecting it. He said he was simply doing his job. —KBK, GMA News
