Olivarez wins third term as Paranaque mayor

Edwin Olivarez won a third term as mayor of Paranaque City, besting rivals Jun Bernabe, Maria Theresa Balgua and Zandro Mate.

A report by Isa Avendano-Umali on Super radyo DZBB said Olivarez obtained 169,224 votes as against Bernabe's 52,824 votes.

For the race for vice mayor, Rico Golez won over Jeremy Marquez with 141,433 votes as against 71,229.

In the first legislative district, Eric Olivarez bag the post of representative with 74,692 votes as against the 13,743 votes of Jimmy Delos Santos.

Joy Tambunting, with 103,028 votes won as representative of the second legislative district over the 12.144 votes of Pacing Rosal.

The winners were proclaimed at the Paranaque Sports social hall Tuesday. —LDF, GMA News
