Fire hits Nat'l Printing Office in QC

A fire struck the basement of the National Printing Office in Barangay Pinyahan, Quezon City on Monday night.

According to a report by Rod Vega in Super Radyo dzBB, first alarm was raised as of 10:00 p.m.

Fire chief inspector Joseph Del Mundo of the Quezon City Fire District said the fire is not yet visible from outside the building but efforts are ongoing to extinguish it.

Firefighters were required to wear breathing apparatus as the basement is covered with thick smoke.
