According to the police, the five are connected to the Parojinog group led by Ailon Parojinog and Jing Mofan, who both have standing warrants of arrest for murder.
Around seven suspects broke into the Metrobank branch on Sto. Cristo Street on Thursday morning, July 11.
Authorities said they were wearing security guard uniforms while another was garbed in a Grab uniform.
Police said the suspects tied down the bank's security guards, tellers as well as other employees.
It was earlier disclosed by MPD chief Police Colonel Vicente Danao that authorities were only allowed to enter the bank two hours after they arrived in the area because the branch head supposedly stopped them.
