Ex-vice mayor of Lanao Del Sur town nabbed in QC

Operatives of the Philippine National Police - Anti-Kidnapping Group on Wednesday arrested the former vice mayor of Wao, Lanao Del Sur in Loyola Heights, Quezon City on the charge of reckless imprudence resulting in damage to property.

Information from the PNP - AKG on Thursday identified the suspect as Jeremy Guiab, 49.

The warrant of arrest against Guiab was issued by Quezon City Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 42 presiding judge Marcelino Gonzales II for the crime of reckless imprudence resulting in damage to property.

The bail recommended was P20,000, police said.

Guiab is temporarily under the custody of PNP - AKG for proper disposition before his turn-over to the issuing court. — Anna Felicia Bajo/BM, GMA News
