Couple under probe in QC for possible nCoV infection

A couple in Quezon City is under investigation for possible new coronavirus infection, according to Allan Gatus' report on Dobol B sa News TV on Friday.

Citing Mike Marasigan, head of the Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, the report said the couple has a travel history from China where the virus originated.

The couple reportedly went to a hospital after experiencing back pains. They were then referred to the city DRRMO which brought them to San Lazaro Hospital in Manila.

At San Lazaro Hospital, the couple were advised to undergo self-quarantine for 14 days.

Despite this, Marasigan stressed that there is no confirmed case of new coronavirus infection yet in Quezon City. —KBK, GMA News
