Tricycles resume operations in San Juan, says Zamora

San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora announced Thursday that the operation of tricycles in the city would resume starting May 28.

According to Zamora, tricycle drivers must possess first a health clearance and travel pass to resume their operations. They must bring it all the time, he said.

The mayor said tricycle units must have plastic in order to protect not only the drivers but also their passengers.

One passenger is only allowed, Zamora noted. He said passengers cannot ride at the back of the driver.

The San Juan City government also requires drivers and passengers to wear face masks all the time to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
