Baby Kobe, infant who survived COVID-19, dies

Kobe Manjares, a newborn who survived COVID-19, has died, a relative said Thursday.

Suzan Manjares, the child's aunt, said Baby Kobe was brought back to the National Children's Hospital for an operation due to constipation.

However, Baby Kobe's family was surprised that he became constipated again.

Manjares said doctors also suspected that Baby Kobe died due to infection in his blood.

Baby Kobe survived COVID-19 and was discharged from hospital in late April.

"Kasi nga po naka-survive na po siya eh tapos biglang nagkaganoon," a grieving Manjares said. --KBK, GMA News
