OLD NORMAL BACK?

Heavy rain slows down traffic in Metro Manila on Thursday

Traffic on the many roads came to a standstill on Thursday evening as strong rains prevailed over Metro Manila.

Raffy Tima's photo on Twitter showed long lines of cars along the EDSA Ayala Tunnel northbound while traffic crawled at a "snail's pace."

Another tweet by the Valenzuela City Government showed heavy traffic along the Mac-Arthur Highway SB corner PioVal to Tullahan as of 7 p.m.

Earlier, traffic was also heavy along EDSA-Cubao as of 5:25 p.m., according to a tweet by Glen Juego.
