Four COVID-19 patients confined at Cardinal Santos

At least four COVID-19 patients are confined in Cardinal Santos Medical Center (CSMC), the hospital said in a statement.

According to the hospital, the four COVID-19 patients were among the 20 individuals who had a consultation with the hospital’s Specialized Emergency Room on Sunday.

“Yesterday, we had a total of 20 consultations in the Specialized ER with 16 suspects and four confirmed COVID-19 patients. Of these, six were admitted,” it said.

“This update is not issued to stir panic in our CSMC community but serves to remind us not to let our guards down,” the hospital added.

The CSMC also said that as of posting time, there were 18 patients in its Specialized ER as there has been an increase in patient consultations compared with the previous month wherein consultations ranged from 8 to 10 patients per day.
