Malabon City records 36 more cases of COVID-19

Malabon City has recorded 36 additional cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), bringing the city’s total infection to 882.

According to a report on “24 Oras News Alert” on Tuesday, among the latest cases of COVID-19 were three children aged three, seven and eight.

Most of the patients were from Barangay Ibaba.

The city government is currently conducting contact tracing to prevent the further spread of the virus.

So far, Malabon reported 359 recoveries and 73 fatalities.

Nationwide, cases of COVID-19 rose to 57,006 on Monday with 20,371 recoveries and 1,599 deaths. — Ma. Angelica Garcia/RSJ, GMA News
