'RESBAK'

Jaybee Sebastian's widow threatened Bilibid guards, claims BuCor

The widow of convict Jaybee Sebastian went to the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) and reportedly threatened officers of the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) a day after the high-profile kidna-for-ransom convict died.

According to Marisol Abdurahman's report on "24 Oras", NBP footage showed a visibly angry woman confronting NBP personnel.

BuCor maintained that Sebastian's family was informed of the inmate's illness and subsequent death. However, his family was prohibited from seeing him and his remains.

BuCor has tightened its security inside and out of their facility after receiving reports of the alleged plans of Sebastian's supporters.

Cells were thus padlocked and additional police personnel had been deployed.
