COVID-positive evacuees in Marikina now 5; QC records 3

The number of evacuees in Marikina City that tested positive for COVID-19 after undergoing swab test has climbed to 5, according to an Unang Balita report on Monday.

These patients are already on quarantine while authorities are still waiting for the results of tests conducted on over 100 more evacuees.

In Quezon City, three evacuees tested positive for COVID-19 while more than 600 underwent rapid test.

The affected evacuees in Quezon City have been placed in community care facilities as the local government unit monitors the situation in evacuation centers.
