PAL Express extending support to family of deceased flight attendant Dacera

PAL Express, the employer of Christine Dacera, has expressed grief for their employee’s passing. Dacera was found lifeless in a bathtub of a hotel room in Makati City past noon on New Year’s Day.

“PAL Express mourns the tragic death of Christine Angela Dacera last January 1 during New Year revelry in Makati City,” the airline said.

“She was an upstanding and professional PAL Express crew member who will be sorely missed by her colleagues and friends,” it added.

Three suspects have been arrested for the alleged rape-slay of the 23-year-old Dacera.

They are now under police custody.

“We are extending full support to the flight attendant's family at this most difficult time. Our desire is for the truth to come out in the interest of justice,” PAL Express said.

The victim was said to have entered a hotel along with friends for a New Year’s Eve celebration.

The victim’s mother, Sharon, said they were even on video call past 12 a.m. of January 1, hours before Christine was found dead. — Ted Cordero/RSJ, GMA News
