Christine Dacera's mom insists her daughter was raped: Tinake advantage nila

The mother of 23-year-old flight attendant Christine Dacera insisted Tuesday that the latter was sexually abused and that she did not die due to aneurysm.

"'Para sa akin, ni-rape po ang anak ko," Sharon Dacera said in an interview on ANC.

"'Pag nakita mo 'yung katawan ni Christine, you would surely feel the pain... My daughter cannot speak anymore... She really struggled much," she said.

"Doon sa medico legal, kita ko 'yung laceration ng anak ko, bruises. Ba't 'di nilagay doon? 'Di ko 'to tanggap itong autopsy na ginawa nila," Sharon added.

Sharon also believed that her daughter was drugged and that something was placed in her drink.

"Most probably mayroon talaga kasi kilala ko si Christine. Hindi ganyan 'yung anak ko. Siguro, ni-take advantage din nila 'yung pagiging mabait at probinsiyana ng anak ko na Christine really trusted them so much. Sabi ko, as a friend, sana 'di nila binetray nang ganoon si Christine," she said.

At present, Sharon admitted that she has not "completely" seen the CCTV footage from the hotel, which showed what transpired prior to finding the flight attendant's body in the bathtub.

Further investigation into the death of Dacera is ongoing.

Some of her friends were implicated in the incident and were initially arrested.

However, the Makati City Prosecutor's Office ordered their release as the pieces of evidence initially submitted by law enforcers were insufficient to prove that Dacera was really abused.

An initial medical report stated that the 23-year-old flight attendant died of ruptured aortic aneurysm.

The National Bureau of Investigation said the second autopsy performed on Dacera yielded bodily fluids, saying that a crime was committed in that incident. —KG, GMA News
