Muntinlupa to purchase additional 200,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines


The local government of Muntinlupa City on Friday announced that it would purchase an additional 200,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines for its residents.

Mayor Jaime Fresnedi said a total of 100,000 doses was initially secured for the city's inoculation program through a tripartite agreement with AstraZeneca and the national government.

With this plan, Muntinlupa City is expecting to have a total of 300,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines for its constituents.

Several localities in Metro Manila also made a deal with AstraZeneca and the national government for the inoculation of their residents against COVID-19.
