NBI completes probe on occupants of room next to Dacera's

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) completed its investigation on the 12 occupants of Room 2207, the room frequented by flight attendant Christine Dacera before her death.

According to a report on “24 Oras Weekend,” a source told GMA News that the persons of interest (POIs) underwent a polygraph or lie detector test.

The answers they gave during questioning will be compared to the physical evidence obtained by investigators, such as the security camera footage.

The 13th occupant of Room 2207, who was from Tacloban, would give his testimony on Monday.

The source told GMA News that the 13th POI entered Room 2209, the room rented by Dacera and her friends, on the night of December 31.

Should the testimony of the 13th POI be truthful, the NBI may recommend him to be turned into a state witness.

Dacera was found lifeless in the bathtub of Room 2209 in the City Garden Grand Hotel in Makati where she celebrated New Year’s Eve with her friends on January 1. Joahna Lei Casilao/DVM, GMA News
