MMA fighter arrested for allegedly selling kush

A mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter was nabbed in a buy-bust operation after he was identified as a drug pusher by two suspects.

According to a “24 Oras Weekend” report on Sunday, Gary Espinar was arrested in Quezon City by the Northern Police District Drug Enforcement Unit for allegedly selling the high-grade marijuana known as kush.

Police said two drug suspects pointed to Espinar as the source of their kush.

Authorities recovered eight cans and 10 sachets of kush worth P2.8 million, as well as two phones and a vehicle.

Espinar made no comment on his arrest. — Julia Mari Ornedo/BM, GMA News
