PWD senior citizen dies in QC fire

A senior citizen person with disability died in a fire that hit a residential area in Quezon City on Wednesday morning.

Bureau of Fire Protection Station 6 commander Fire Captain Aloysius Borromeo said the fatality is a 63-year-old woman who was trapped in a room in a house in Barangay Pasong Tamo, according to a report by James Agustin on GMA's Unang Hirit.

Borromeo said there was no electricity at home and only a candle served as light source.

Investigation is ongoing as to the cause of the fire.
