LRT2 halts operations due to technical problem

LRT2 on Tuesday morning stopped its operations due to a "technical problem."

In a tweet, the Light Rail Transit Authority said the train is "temporarily on Code Red," which means it has stopped selling tickets and its operations.

"We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause," the LRTA said.

LRT2 extends from the Recto Station in Manila to the eastern part of Metro Manila towards Marikina and Pasig. —KBK, GMA News
