Sixteen more individuals who swam at the Gubat sa Ciudad Resort in Caloocan City on Mother’s Day have tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

According to Saleema Refran’s report on “24 Oras,” the local government said almost all infected patients were asymptomatic. One patient, however, developed migraine and is currently at a quarantine facility.

This brings to 20 the total number of guests who have tested positive for the illness.

The local government unit (LGU) has tested 207 guests while 55 are still awaiting their results.

Meanwhile, the LGU is still tracking down around 2,000 individuals since the contact tracing log of the resort was not properly filled out.
