Factory worker in Valenzuela receives salary in centavos

A factory worker in Valenzuela City sought help from Mayor Rex Gatchalian after getting his salary worth P1,056 in centavos.

In a Twitter post on Monday, the Valenzuela City government said the employee received two days' salary in 5-centavo and 10-centavo coins.

The city government said Gatchalian already met with the representative of Next Green Factory and the factory employee.

Gatchalian has yet to call for another meeting to discuss the complaint with the company owners, who are currently out of town.
