Before dawn on Saturday, authorities raised the Alarm 2 over Marikina River as water level reached the 16-meter mark.

According to a post on the Facebook page of the Marikina Public Information Office, the river's water level reached 16.2 meters at 4 a.m. on Saturday.

At 8 a.m., however, the water level increased to 16.3 meters, according to Marikina Rescue 161.

All eight gates of the Manggahan Floodway have been opened.

The rainfall level in three areas in Marikina — Youth Camp; Green St. Concepcion Dos; and Sampaguita St. Bayan Bayanan Creek — remained at 0 millimeter.
