QC places 25 areas under a special concern lockdown


The Quezon City government placed 25 areas under a 14-day special concern lockdown due to an increase in COVID-19 cases.

The city government said areas to be locked down were:

  • An area at Luke Street, Hobart Subdivision 2, Barangay Kaligayahan
  • An area on Quirino Highway, Barangay Gulod
  • An area in ROTC Hunters, Cluster 7, Barangay Tatalon
  • An area on G. Araneta Avenue, Barangay Santol
  • An area in GKHSIA, Upper Banlat, Barangay Tandang Sora
  • Tabigo Street, Barangay Commonwelath
  • An area in Alex Apartelle, Virgo Street, Solville Subdivision, Barangay Talipapa
  • An area at Ilang-Ilang Street, Barangay Batasan Hills
  • An area at Davao Street, Barangay Alicia
  • 4 areas in Shelter Homes, Barangay Batasan Hills
  • An area at Cotabato Street, Barangay Alicia
  • An area at Agueda Street, Barangay Toro
  • An area in Esteban Abada, Barangay Loyola Heights
  • An area on Emerald Lane, Morning Star Drive, Barangay Culiat
  • An area at Ipo Street, Barangay Salvacion
  • A part of Mang David Street, Barangay Baesa
  • A part of Ocampo Street, Barangay UP Campus
  • Ave Maria Convent, Ave Maria Road, Maligaya Park Subdivision, Barangay Pasong Putik
  • An area at Labo Street, Barangay San Isidro Labrador
  • A part of Domingo Street, Barangay Holy Spirit
  • An area in Temple Drive, Barangay Ugong Norte
  • Six areas at Dela Cruz Street and an area in Manansala Street, Barangay Krus na Ligas
  • A part of Fatima Street, Barangay UP Campus
  • A compound at Cordillera Street, Barangay Doña Aurora
  • An area at Bagong Buhay Street, Barangay Sto. Niño

The city government said it would provide food packs and essential kits to the affected families.

The affected families will also undergo swab testing and a mandatory 14-day quarantine. — DVM, GMA News
