Seniors mob the Delpan Sports Complex during COVID-19 aid distribution

Senior citizens flocked to the Delpan Sports Complex in Manila to receive aid amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to a report on "Balitanghali" on Monday, physical distancing was not observed due to the influx of people.

Some residents were also not wearing their face masks properly.

Barangay Chairman Bryan Mondejar said they implemented a schedule, but residents ignored this.

Due to the influx of people, some residents had difficulty breathing inside the complex.

Manila is currently under Alert Level 4.

Those who are not allowed outside their residences under Alert Level 4 are:

• persons below 18 years old
• those who are over 65 years of age
• those with immunodeficiencies, comorbidities, or other health risks
• pregnant women
