Lone robber holds up bank in Paco, Manila

A lone robber held up a bank in Otis, Paco, Manila Monday afternoon.

Manila Police District chief Brigadier General Leo Francisco said the incident happened around 2 p.m. The robber used a motorcycle as a getaway vehicle.

He said no one was reported hurt in the incident and there is no information yet on the amount the robber took.

“Wala pang dinidisclose kung magkano ang nakuha. Sa physical na report ng imbestigador, OK naman ang bank employees. Sa pakikipag-usap sa bank manager, wala namang nababanggit na may nangyaring ibang insidente sa loob,” Francisco said in an interview with Super Radyo dzBB.

(The bank management has yet to disclose how much was taken from them. In the report of our investigator, the bank employees seemed OK. The bank manager also did not say about other things that happened during the incident.)

He said the MPD Station 10 is now conducting the investigation while other MPD personnel are doing a dragnet operation to arrest the perpetrator. —AOL, GMA News
