Baste Duterte responds to dad Digong's statements: 'Nasa kabilang bahay lang ako'

Baste Duterte, youngest son of President Rodrigo "Digong" Duterte, on Tuesday told his dad not to get stressed, adding he is just staying at the other house.

The President on Monday admitted to using media coverage to reach his son, whom he had trouble contacting.

The messages seem to have reached the presidential son, and he chose to respond via Facebook.

“Good morning, Pa. Nasa kabilang bahay lang ako noong February 1 pa. Huwag ka nang ma-stress. Love you mwah” he said after the president revealed private matters during a speech, including Baste's relationship with his son.

Baste added in a separate post, “Pa, tama na please.”

“Si Chocolate naman ang pagalitan mo. Mas grabe iyon. Haha lels,” he quipped, referencing a viral video of a local comedian.

The President last week bared his sentiments regarding Baste's relationship with sexy star Ellen Adarna, criticizing his son for not being home enough.

Baste had responded on social media saying the couple had already broken up.

In Monday's speech, Duterte revealed that he has tried calling Baste but his security aides could not get in touch with him.

"P— ina Baste, nasaan ka? Hindi ko naman talaga alam kung nasaan eh. I took advantage of the national coverage. Tingnan mo, tanungin ko sa mga security, 'Tawagan mo si Baste.' 'Sir, hindi sumasagot.' Sabagay nandoon kay ano, kay love niya si Ellen," he said.
