Honest immigration officer returns $1,900 found at NAIA

An honest immigration officer has been commended after returning the $1,900 he found at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1.

A report on Unang Balita said Bureau of Immigration officer Reimond Lagman immediately notified his supervisor that he found a $1,900 or almost P100,000 at Terminal 1.

The money was then surrendered to NAIA's lost and found section.

Lagman said despite his low salary, it never crossed his mind to keep the money to himself.
