Santiago quits DDB post
Dangerous Drugs Board chief Dionisio Santiago has tendered his resignation following his statement against the drug rehabilitation center in Nueva Ecija, Super Radyo dzBB's Tuesday Niu reported on Tuesday, citing sources.
The report said Santiago has already submitted to Malacañang his letter of irrevocable resignation.

The DDB chief’s resignation came at the heels of his statement criticizing the construction of 10,000-bed drug rehabilitation center inside Fort Magsaysay in Laur town as “impractical” and a “mistake.”
Santiago declined to comment on his resignation and told Super Radyo dzBB that he is leaving it up to Malacañang the official announcement of his decision.
Malacañang, meanwhile, has yet to confirm Santiago's resignation as of posting time. —Nicole-Anne Lagrimas/KBK, GMA News
