VP Robredo satisfaction rating up — SWS


The satisfactory rating for Vice President Leni Robredo is up by 15 points, according to the First Quarter 2019 Social Weather Survey (SWS).

Robredo's net satisfaction rating rose from moderate to good or from +27 in December 2018 to +42 in March 2019.

The 15-point increase in the overall net satisfaction rating of Robredo was due to increases of 26 points in Balance Luzon, 17 points in the Visayas, and 2 points in Mindanao, combined with a 2-point decline in Metro Manila.

Meanwhile, the ratings for Senate President "Tito" Sotto, Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo,  Supreme Court Justice Bersamin remain unchanged.

The March 2019 Social Weather Survey was conducted from March 28 to 31, 2019 with 1,440 adults correspondents nationwide: 360 each in Balance Luzon, Metro Manila, the Visayas, and Mindanao.

The sampling error margins of ±2.6% for national percentages, and ±5% each for Balance Luzon, Metro Manila, the Visayas, and Mindanao.

Sotto's satisfactory rating remained at very good +61 between December 2018 and March 2019. The steady net satisfaction rating was due to increases of 3 points in Mindanao and 2 points in Balance Luzon, combined with a 10-point decline in Metro Manila and a steady score in the Visayas.

Speaker Macapagal-Arroyo remains poor, up by 4 points from -21 in December 2018 to -17 in March 2019.

The 4-point improvement in the overall net satisfaction rating of Speaker Macapagal-Arroyo was due to increases of 9 points in Mindanao, 3 points in the Visayas, and 3 points in Balance Luzon, combined with a 3-point decline in Metro Manila. The net satisfaction with Macapagal-Arroyo stayed poor in Mindanao, up by 9 points from -22 in December to -13 in March.

Chief Justice Bersamin’s overall net satisfaction rating stayed moderate, up by 3 points from +11 in December 2018 to +14 in March 2019.

The 3-point rise in the overall net satisfaction rating of Bersamin was due to increases of 8 points in Balance Luzon, 7 points in Mindanao, and 4 points in the Visayas, combined with a 20-point decline in Metro Manila.

Net satisfaction with Chief Justice Bersamin stayed moderate in Balance Luzon, up by 8 points from +17 in December to +25 in March.
