Rodel Jayme positively IDs ‘Maru Xie’ in Panelo matrix

Rodel Jayme, the creator of the website that was allegedly used to share the videos that tagged members of the First Family in the illegal drug trade, on Wednesday said he recognized a woman shown in Malacañang's new matrix of individuals plotting against the government.

In a 24 Oras report on GMA News, Jayme said he knew the woman labeled "Precious Sahara Ledesma" in the matrix as "Maru Xie," who he said tapped him into making the controversial Metrobalita.net, where a series of videos implicating the Duterte family in the drug trade was posted.

"Dati po niyang online name yan [Precious Sahara Ledesma] pero nung uminit na dati ang pamba-bash online, nagpalit siya ng alias na Maru Xie, pero ang totoong pangalan niya ay Maria Kristina Elvira," Jayme said.

At a press briefing in Malacañang, Presidential spokesperson Salvador Panelo said Elvira, who goes by the names Maru Xie and Maru Nguyen, is the administrator of "Freedom Wall PH" and a supporter of the Liberal Party and opposition senatorial candidates.

Jayme claimed Elvira was the source of the controversial "narcolist videos."

"Makikita na yung Bikoy video, pinost ni Maru noong tanghali ng April 2. Yung sa Youtube, kinabukasan pa ng hapon na-ipost, so siya talaga ang nauna," Jayme said, as he appealed for Elvira to come out and clear his name.

"Lumabas ka na para malinis mo ang aking pangalan, dahil wala naman talaga akong alam. pinagkatiwalaan kita, ikaw naman ang tumulong sa akin," he added.

Bikoy is the hooded man seen in the narcolist videos alleging that some Duterte family members received payoffs from drug personalities.

The National Bureau of Investigation is still gathering details about the alleged participation of the individuals supposedly behind the narcolist videos, the report said. — MDM, GMA News
