PPCRV still looking for volunteers

A day after the midterm elections, the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) said it needs more volunteers to help in monitoring the results of the polls.

In a Facebook post, the election watchdog announced that it is still looking for encoders for May 20 to 31. The PPCRV said there will be three shifts available:

• 8 am to 12 nn;
• 12 nn to 5 pm; and
• 5 pm to 10 pm

Earlier, the PPCRV said it had deployed 300,000 volunteers for the recent elections.

A total of 100 volunteers manned the command center in Manila for each of three daily shifts. — RSJ, GMA News
