Don't bring gadgets, jewelry to schools, NCRPO chief asks students

For safety reasons, students should avoid bringing gadgets and pieces of jewelry to school, according to National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Police Major General Guillermo Eleazar.

Eleazar said the NCRPO is ready to secure the opening of classes on June 3.

More than 1,000... 1,230 itong mga schools po both private and public ang magoopen nitong susunod na linggo," he said.

Eleazar said there would be police assistance desks in schools to cater to the needs of students and checkpoints along roads to ensure the safety of teachers and pupils.

He said police would also provide a special desk to assist students who are victims of bullying incidents.

Earlier, the NCRPO chief said around 7,000 policemen would be deployed during the opening of classes.  —Anna Felicia Bajo/KBK, GMA News
