Duterte says he sacked entire BOC admin section over corruption

President Rodrigo Duterte on Friday said he removed the employees of the Bureau of Customs' administrative section over corruption.

"Yesterday, tinanggal ko sa trabaho [ang] entire administrative section sa Customs. Tinanggal ko silang lahat. Sixty-four of them," he said in a speech before overseas Filipino workers in Quezon City, adding his anti-corruption purge did not include Customs Commissioner Rey Leonardo Guerrero. 

The president reiterated his order for the sacked employees to report to him in Malacañang. 

"Galit talaga ako sa corruption. 'Yang customs na yan sabi nila hindi maputol putol, napuno na ako. Sabi ko hindi na talaga mahinto ang p___inang 'to umalis kayong lahat," he said.

He also said he have the sacked BOC employees clean up the Pasig River, which is near the presidential palace. — DVM, GMA News
