Courts to close at 2 p.m. on Monday, September 23, 2019 — SC

In commemoration of National Family Week, courts nationwide will only be open until 2 p.m. on Monday, September 23, 2019.

The Supreme Court's Public Information Office released Associate Justice Antonio Carpio's advisory on the shortened court schedule for Monday in a statement on Sunday. 

"Pursuant to CSC Announcement No.53, s.2019, the Supreme Court joins the celebration of the 27th National Family Week Celebration," it said, adding that the move is meant "[t]o encourage [court employees] to spend mealtime with their families."

National Family Week is an annual commemoration held every fourth week of September.  — BM, GMA News
