AFP chief Clement promoted to a rank of general
Armed Forces of the Philippines chief of staff Noel Clement was promoted to the rank of general more than a month after his appointment in September.
According to the AFP's Public Affairs Office, the donning of ranks ceremony was presided by Department of National Defense Undersecretary Cardozo Luna on Wednesday.

Clement's wife, Geraldine Anne, and their two sons were present during the ceremony. Commanders of the AFP Major Services and AFP Southern Luzon were also present.
Clement, who assumes post as AFP chief on September 24, belongs to the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) ”Sandiwa” Class of 1985.
