Robredo to release drug-war report late December-January

After deferring the release of her report on the government's drug war to give way to the disaster response operations in the quake-hit Davao Region, Vice President Leni Robredo on Sunday said she would release the report late December or January next year.

Robredo had originally planned to release her recommendations for an improved anti-drug campaign last December 16, but put it off to keep the country's focus on the quake and its victims

Pero kapag hindi talaga, kapag hindi natapos iyong sakuna, baka early January, after the New Year,” the Vice President said on her radio show.

Malacañang had accused Robredo of seeking attention when she called for a press conference to publicize her report on drug war after her short stint as the Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs' (ICAD's) co-chair. — Joviland Rita/DVM, GMA News
