Pimentel reveals plan to take master's degree abroad with Pacquiao

Senator Koko Pimentel on Saturday detailed his plans of going abroad to take a master's degree along with fellow Senator Manny Pacquiao.

"Pinag usapan namin. Gusto namin mag-aral ng masters sa abroad...Oo, sabay, kaya inaayos namin [ang] sked," Pimentel said in a radio interview.

He added that the boxing champion, who recently graduated with a degree in political science from the University of Makati, told him that he loved to study.

"Sabi niya sa akin masarap daw mag-aral. Sabi ko nami-miss ko na rin mag-aral, kaya sasamahan ko," Pimentel said.

As to when the two senators would go abroad to study, Pimentel explained that they would have to do this while the Senate was on a break. — Angelica Y. Yang/DVM/KG, GMA News
