CHR suspends work for disinfection procedure against COVID-19

The Commission on Human Rights (CHR) will suspend work on Wednesday, March 11, to disinfect its central offices to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019.

In an advisory released Tuesday, CHR said work for its offices, including the CHR-NCR and CHR Region-IV B at the SAAC and PADEC buildings, will be suspended for disinfection procedures.

"We value the health and safety of every, most especially the clients we serve," it said.

According to the advisory, normal operations will resume on Thursday, March 12.

The CHR said its regional offices are also expected to undergo the same disinfection procedures at a later time.
