DPWH starts converting PhilSport Arena into quarantine facility
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) on Thursday started turning the PhilSport Multipurpose Arena or ULTRA Stadium in Pasig City into a quarantine facility for COVID-19 patients.
A tweet of Super Radyo dzBB’s Isa Avendaño-Umali showed that DPWH personnel were already at the venue.

Aside from this, Secretary Mark Villar said they are also working on other facility in Filinvest Tent in Muntinlupa City.
The national government has been converting venues like the Philippine International Convention Center and World Trade Center in Pasay into quarantine facilities.
To transform them into quarantine facilities, the DPWH is tasked in setting up cubicles and hospital beds in these venues.
Government officials from the Inter-agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases earlier inspected some of the completed makeshift quarantine facilities. --Joviland Rita/KBK, GMA News
