PMA commencement exercises to push through in May

The commencement exercises of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) is tentatively scheduled to push through in May, said an official of the academy.

PMA spokesperson Cheryl Tindog said the PMA graduation rights will push through next month, according to a report on GMA's "24 Oras Weekend" on Sunday, depending on whether any quarantine protocol would be imposed during that time.

The PMA has been temporarily closed to visitors since February, given the threat of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

President Rodrigo Duterte last week extended the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) on the National Capital Region (NCR) until May 15, including high-risk areas such as Baguio City, Oriental, and Occidental Mindoro, Albay, and Catanduanes. — Jon Viktor Cabuenas/DVM, GMA News
