No casualties so far due to Ambo —NDRRMC

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) on Friday said that no casualties have been recorded so far due to severe tropical storm Ambo.

That's good news, wala po talaga," NDRRMC spokesperson Mark Timbal said in an interview on Dobol B sa News TV.

"[A]ng ating pong mga kababayan naman po ay nakapag-evacuate naman po way ahead of the storm," he added.

According to Timbal, the information they have on damages brought by Ambo are currently anecdotal information from counterparts on the ground.

Especially those ares that are landslide-prone, flood-prone, at saka storm surge-prone," he added.
