Travel authority for employees under MECQ is unnecessary –DILG exec

The Department of the Interior and Local Government has reminded workers of business establishments allowed to operate during the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) that there is no need for them to seek a travel authority from their barangays.

Malaya made the statement following reports of some residents falling in long queues in Rodriguez, Rizal still asking for travel authority from the local government unit.

Earlier, The DILG undersecretary said travel authority is only for those stranded individuals. —Jamil Santos/LBG, GMA News
