DENR compound on lockdown after 2 personnel test positive for COVID-19

The entire central office of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in Quezon City will be placed under lockdown after two personnel tested positive for COVID-19.

DENR Undersecretary Benny Antiporda told reporters that the two personnel were part of the skeleton force of the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB).

"Two positive cases of COVID in EMB Central Office. We will sanitize after that we will lift [the lockdown] ASAP," Antiporda said.

The compound of DENR Central Office will undergo sanitation, while personnel will undergo quarantine.
