Number of stranded passengers in Manila North Harbor lessened

The number of locally stranded individuals at the Manila North Harbor have lessened over the past days after some of them have returned to their respective accommodations in Metro Manila while waiting for boat trips to resume.

According to a report on “Unang Balita” on Tuesday, the LSIs left the port as sea travel to Cebu and Western and Eastern Visayas are expected to resume on July 15.

Meanwhile, some 179 LSIs who chose to stay at the Manila North Harbor were given folding beds as they wait for the resumption of boat trips.

Senior citizens, on the other hand, were given their own rooms.
